Abstract Submission General Guidelines
- Deadline for abstract submission for Post Graduates: December 15, 2024
Guidelines for Best Paper Award for Trainees: “Dhanwantri Best Paper Award”
- Interested delegates should submit the full paper in Word format (no PPT/PDF).
- Trainees are Ortho residents or MS/DNB postgraduate trainees, requiring certification from their unit chief or HOD to present the material.
- Original scientific work will be selected, where the majority of the work should be by the presenting author with at least two years of follow-up.
- Work must be conducted in A.P.; case reports are not allowed.
- The organizing committee's scientific committee will screen suitable papers; their decision is final.
- The work should not have been published previously.
- Judges' decisions are binding; disputes will be resolved by the OSSAP executive committee.
- All presenters must register for OSSAPCON 2025.
- Presentations should be clear, concise, and avoid lengthy numerical data; only essential equations should be included.
- Selected works will be presented at OSSAPCON 2025.
- Presentations at OSSAPCON 2025 should be in PPT/PPTX format, compatible with standard MS-Windows fonts (PowerPoint 2010 or later, Windows 7, or equivalent on Mac).
- Duration: 6 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion.
- Check animations and videos in advance to ensure compatibility.
Guidelines for Best Paper Award for Consultants: Dr. Vyaghreswarudu
- Eligible for practicing orthopedic consultants or faculty members (senior residents/registrars and above) who are OSSAP members.
- Original scientific work should primarily be by the presenting author, with two years of follow-up.
- 6-minute presentation with 2 minutes for discussion; 5-7 papers will be presented in each hour-long session.
- Case reports are not accepted in this category.
- The work should be unpublished.
- Judges' decisions are binding; disputes will be resolved by the OSSAP executive committee.
- All presenters must be registered for OSSAPCON 2025.
- Work should preferably be done in A.P., with a major contribution from the presenter.
- Presentations at OSSAPCON 2025 should be in PPT/PPTX format, compatible with standard MS-Windows fonts.
Guidelines for Best E-Poster Award
- Only the abstract of the ePoster should be submitted in Word format (no PPT/PDF).
- Submit a 150-word full e-poster, including Introduction, Objectives, Materials & Methods, Observation, and Conclusion.
- Eligible for trainees, consultants, and faculty. Non-member postgraduate trainees need certification from a faculty co-author or HOD.
- Full-length original scientific work, case reports, and case series will be accepted.
- E-posters should be self-explanatory and contain Introduction, Aims, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. Selected posters will be notified to submit via a link.
- The presentation template will be sent by email.
- Judges' decisions are binding; disputes will be resolved by the OSSAP executive committee.
- All presenters must be registered for OSSAPCON.
- Selected E-Posters will be displayed at the conference venue.
